Moments after birth, your skin touching my skin, naked 3.4kg frame on my bare chest. Like a mother kangaroo and her joey.
One month. Napping in the cot means you'll wake up. So nanny sits on her bed, leans on the wall, and keeps you lying down on her chest long after you've fallen asleep.
Three months. Still sleeping on our chests. On the couch, on our bed. Most naps and some nights. Only because we give in after you wake up way too often.
Seven months. You sleep a little better now. But some nights I still put you on my chest after you fall asleep. Maybe I just like feeling the weight of you, all 7.7kg of you.
